Gubb Design: Architectural Designers in Auckland

"For the last two years we have been working through the challenging process of coming up with plans to renovate our house. The scale of our renovations has changed over this time and we have been very careful to make sure that whatever we did was consistent with part of a long term big picture.

During this process we have had concept plans drawn up by one architectural firm, proposals that we rejected from another, and then a draughting company that we engaged and then had to disengage because of unacceptable performance. We then engaged Darren Gubb Design and while we were starting to form a reasonable picture of what we wanted we were in need of someone to give us confidence to progress. We have recently received building consent and will begin construction in October 2013.

Throughout the entire process Darren has been extremely patient and professional in dealing with us. We have had to change and re-arrange the floor plan a number of times, certainly more than expected, and he has been incredibly accommodating throughout. He has offered ideas along the way but also been very receptive to our ideas and ideas we have collected from friends, builders, and family architects. We would happily work with Darren again.
